Normalizing heat treatment is an important process to improve the toughness of steel plate. It is also a kind of process heat treatment to improve product quality. The continuous normalizing furnace for steel tube is a medium industrial furnace with long strip shape. The axle continuous normalizing furnace used to use fuel oil sub high speed burner, which is mainly used for heat treatment of train axle after heating and forging. The use of normalizing furnace is mainly based on the need for high temperature calcination of some steel. It has the following advantages:

1. Easy to use, adapt to the production environment;

2. The temperature in the furnace rises rapidly and the temperature in each section is uniform;

3. The overhaul period of furnace body is more than five years, and the maintenance of furnace door, burner and other vulnerable parts is convenient.

Compared with annealing furnace, it has some disadvantages

1. The temperature of annealing furnace is lower than that of normalizing furnace;

2. The cooling rate of annealing furnace is slightly slower than that of normalizing furnace;

3. The effect of annealing furnace and normalizing furnace is different. After carburizing, normalizing furnace can eliminate network cementite, but annealing furnace can't. for steel with carbon content less than 0.25x, normalizing furnace can improve its hardness and machinability, but annealing furnace can't;

4. The period of normalizing furnace is short and the operation is convenient; the period of annealing furnace is long and the operation is relatively troublesome.
